The GIPS Executive Committee is pleased to announce that CFA Society of Mexico has been endorsed as the official sponsor of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) in Mexico. This country sponsor endorsement represents the 35th country to join the global partnership to develop and promote the GIPS standards and the second Latin America country to join. Administered by CFA Institute, the success of the GIPS standards is the result of an alliance of sponsors across Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. Carl Bacon, CIPM, Chair of the GIPS Executive Committee and Senior Partner and Chairman at Statpro Group, plc, announced the endorsement of the Mexico Country Sponsor to be effective as of 21 June 2012.
