2010 edition of the GIPS standards released!
CFA Institute has released the most comprehensive edition of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) to date. The 2010 edition of the GIPS standards is now available on the GIPS standards website. The revisions to the GIPS standards were developed by the CFA Institute-sponsored GIPS Executive Committee, comprised of nine senior investment industry members representing stakeholders around the globe. The GIPS Executive Committee is supported by more than 100 volunteers serving on 10 subcommittees and working groups, each with diverse and in-depth industry experience. View  the press release for a list of the significant changes. The GIPS standards website also includes additional resources, including a red-line version of the provisions showing the changes between the 2005 edition and the 2010 edition, and a cross-reference guide that maps the provisions between the 2005 edition and the 2010 edition. The Adopting Release and related Q&As are forthcoming.

The GIPS Standards European Conference will be held on 24-25 February 2010 in London and will offer the first opportunity to hear directly from members of the GIPS Executive Committee about the details of the 2010 edition of the GIPS standards.
