GIPS Logo Now Available for Use!
Firms claiming compliance with the GIPS standards may now use the
GIPS logo on compliant presentations or advertisements that adhere to the
GIPS Advertising Guidelines. To find out how your firm can use the logo
and view the usage guidelines, visit the GIPS website.
Call for Volunteers – Deadline Approaching
The GIPS Executive Committee is seeking nominations for the
chair of the Investment Manager Subcommittee. The chair is also a
member of the GIPS Executive Committee. The GIPS Executive Committee is a
nine-member committee that serves as the decision-making authority for
the development, interpretation, and promotion the GIPS standards.
Volunteers must have investment performance measurement and/or evaluation
experience, knowledge of the GIPS standards, and the ability to represent
the investment management industry. The Investment Manager Subcommittee
acts as a forum for investment management firms to discuss issues related
to the application of the GIPS standards and identify issues that need
further guidance and interpretation.
