Register for the upcoming GIPS® Open Conference Call
The GIPS Executive Committee (EC) is pleased to announce that it will hold an open conference call scheduled for Wednesday, 18 June at 8:00 a.m. ET. View the agenda and materials for this call. Please e-mail us to register for this call and to obtain dialing instructions. The deadline to register for this conference call is Monday, 16 June 2008.
Among other things, the EC will review and vote on the Error Correction Guidance Statement.
GIPS Standards Conference and
Workshops
The GIPS Standards Annual Conference is scheduled for
25-26 September 2008 in Boston. Last year's conference sold out and space
is limited, so register early. This year's conference will cover key
topics in the performance measurement industry as well as a preview and
implications of the proposed changes to the GIPS standards.
A GIPS Standards Interactive Workshop precedes the annual conference and is scheduled for 24 September 2008 in Boston. The workshop will help participants master the requirements of the GIPS standards, including composite construction, performance calculation, and the creation of a compliant presentation. Currently, all of the GIPS subcommittees are seeking
volunteers. Subcommittee lists and descriptions are available on the GIPS
website.
