GIPS 2010 Exposure Draft Open for Public Comment
The GIPS Executive Committee (EC), the governing body for the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®), is seeking industry comments on the GIPS 2010 Exposure Draft. The public comment period will last until 1 July 2009. All comments received, unless requested to be kept confidential, will be posted on the GIPS website.
The proposed adoption of the revised GIPS standards is planned for early 2010 with an effective date of 1 January 2011. Compliant presentations that include performance results for periods that begin on or after 1 January 2011 must be prepared in accordance with the revised GIPS standards.
Two versions of the draft are available below. The first document highlights each change for clarity and transparency. The second document is an unmarked version of the same document.
