The GIPS Standards Expand to Sri Lanka

 

The GIPS Executive Committee is pleased to announce that CFA Sri Lanka has been endorsed as the official sponsor of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) in Sri Lanka. This country sponsor endorsement represents the 32nd country to join the global partnership to develop and promote the GIPS standards. Administered by CFA Institute, the success of the GIPS standards is the result of an alliance of sponsors across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. Dr. Stefan J. Illmer, chair of the GIPS Executive Committee and Director, Head of Client Reporting at Credit Suisse, announced the endorsement of the Sri Lanka Country Sponsor at the GIPS Executive Committee meeting held on 18 November 2009.
