EC Nominations Committee 2010 Call for Volunteers
The Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) Nominations Committee is seeking volunteers to serve on the GIPS Executive Committee (EC). The EC is a nine-member committee that serves as the decision-making authority to develop, interpret, and promote the GIPS standards. Currently, the EC is seeking nominees to serve as chair of the Investment Manager Subcommittee and to represent that constituency within the EC. Volunteers must have investment performance measurement and/or evaluation experience, knowledge of the GIPS standards, and the ability to represent the investment manager community of the investment industry. The purpose of the Investment Manager Subcommittee is to act as a forum for investment management firms globally regarding issues related to consistency of application, and objectives related to the GIPS standards.
