The GIPS standards expand to Peru

 

The GIPS Executive Committee is pleased to announce that Procapitales has been endorsed as the official sponsor of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS^®) in Peru. This country sponsor endorsement represents the 34th country to join the global partnership to develop and promote the GIPS standards. Administered by CFA Institute, the success of the GIPS standards is the result of an alliance of sponsors across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. These key industry groups contribute significantly to promoting and developing the GIPS standards. (To view all groups involved in GIPS promotion and development, visit the GIPS website.)

 

Carl Bacon, CIPM, Chair of the GIPS Executive Committee and Senior Partner and Chairman at Statpro Group, plc, announced the endorsement of the Peru Country Sponsor to be effective as of 25 September 2011.
