The United States Investment Performance Committee (USIPC) is conducting a survey to gather information regarding how firms plan to meet new requirements of the 2020 edition of the GIPS standards related to the distribution of GIPS Reports, including related pooled fund fee disclosures. Participate in this survey to help identify common practices for how firms are implementing the new requirements.

CFA Institute, the global association of investment management professionals, has released the 2020 edition of the CFA Institute Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®), set to take effect January 1, 2020. The GIPS standards are a set of standardized, industry-wide ethical principles that guide investment managers and asset owners on how to fairly calculate and present their investment results, with the goal of promoting performance transparency and comparability.

We are pleased to announce that Karyn Vincent, CFA, CIPM has accepted the CFA Institute position of Head, Global Industry Standards effective 4 September 2018.  Karyn’s long history with investment performance standards, her tireless work as a GIPS volunteer and vast knowledge of the investment industry bring a wealth of talent to her new role at CFA Institute. Karyn will also serve as the GIPS Executive Director.
