A firm is first coming into compliance with the GIPS standards. When is the firm initially required to submit the GIPS Compliance Form to CFA Institute to comply with the requirement to notify CFA Institute of its claim of compliance?

The firm must submit the notification to CFA Institute once it has met all of the requirements of the GIPS standards and is at the point of initially claiming compliance with the GIPS standards. The firm must not claim compliance with the GIPS standards unless the GIPS Compliance Form has been submitted to CFA Institute.
